Some time ago there was a young girl who befriended the moon. They played hide and seek amongst the concrete landscape. The young girl preferred the gentle illumination of the moon to the harshness of the sun making bright all the dis-ease throughout the land. She wanted to help and heal those around her but didn’t know how. Time carried on and the young girl now a woman learned to speak the language of the moon and also, learned that she could only heal others if she tended to herself first. And slowly, she began to walk the labyrinth in hopes of finding her center. She mothered wild seeds while journeying and was a patient student of all the teachings made available to her. She still walks this labyrinth of healing welcoming and guiding fellow travelers along the way.

The path of healing is a labyrinth forever winding and bringing us closer to our centered selves.

Practically speaking, I was led to Traditional Chinese Medicine through my own experiences with loved ones who had not received the healing they hoped for when using Western Medicine alone. I sought out a medicine that was holistic in nature with the intention of sharing it widely and especially in communities that lacked access to a variety of healing modalities. I believe that all healing practices should be equally accessible to all people in order to ensure our own good health and that of our society.

In my day to day life, I enjoy nerding out over plants, the universe, speculative/science fiction, camping and writing.
